There are three in Feb and March dates for the Social media surgery at the Loco Lounge – if you’re form a charity or community group please click on the dates below to check time and sign up to say you’re coming.
Monday 23rd February – 5.30 pm 7pm at Loco Lounge (you can drop in)
Tuesday March 10th – 5.30pm to 7pm at Loco Lounge (you can drop in)
Monday 23rd March – 5.30- pm to 7pm at Loco Lounge (again you’re welcome to drop in, you don’t have to make it at 5.30 prompt.)
As well as helping you get your head around how social media can further your cause or voluntary work we are also very happy to help organisations use data better or even use open government data. For a little more on this come along and talk to us or take a quick look here.
If you’ve never been to a surgery follow this link for what to expect. It’s relaxed and informal, we focus on the help you need at the pace that suits you.
Venue still to be sorted out, but this will be the evening for the next Community Partnership Event.
We’ll be taking forward all of the key points which you raised at the first event and working on them in much more detail. Come prepared to get stuck in, and to take away things to do afterwards. I’ll post more information when the programme’s sorted.
If you have been looking at this blog, you’ll notice that the pictures are not exactly from round here, are they!!
If you have any lovely images of Moseley or Kings Heath, please get in touch. I’m really interested in any pictures where there are local residents or people who work here in them – that’s what gives me a sense of this area! We can then add them to the top banner so it starts to feel like a blog for this part of the world.
(Please make sure you have the permission of any people in the photos before you send them in!)
If anyone has any questions, please get in touch – firstname.lastname@example.org (0121 303 6604). (Although no technical photography advice available – I’m awful at it!)
Big thanks to everyone who came along to the new Community Partnership event earlier this month. Great to see everyone getting stuck in and helping out. And we’ve been blown away by everyone’s Big Asks and Big Offers. Just goes to show what great places Kings Heath and Moseley are to live and work in!
Hope everyone has had time to watch the videos from the night – budding film stars, I’m not sure (!) but definitely gives a sense of who we are and what we want from this.
I’ve finally had a chance to put down all of the Big Asks and the Big Offers so you can see what other people have said. (Fingers crossed, this should work for you all!).

Carol introduced herself at the first partnership event on September 8th. Her concerns, hopes include making Moseley cleaner and greener through Moseley in Bloom.
